Books and materials
Reading and literature books, chalk, copy paper and the classroom materials that run out fastest in a school year.
Support
Ada and Children Upper Room International Academy is kept running by school fees, careful management and the generosity of people like you — here in Ganta City and across the diaspora.
What gifts make possible
Gifts are received by the school office and used where the need is greatest. These are the needs that come around every single term.
Reading and literature books, chalk, copy paper and the classroom materials that run out fastest in a school year.
Soap, disinfectant and termly mosquito treatment — the unglamorous supplies that keep attendance up.
Grade 9 pupils face WAEC registration fees. Support helps the office make sure no capable pupil misses the examination over money.
Make a gift
Online card payments are being set up. Until then, pledge below and the office will arrange the transfer with you directly — bank transfer and mobile money are both welcome.
US dollars are legal tender in Liberia and simplest for gifts from abroad. Liberian dollar gifts are gladly received at the school office.
Prefer to give things rather than money? Items from the school supply list — copy paper, soap, chlorine, exercise books — are always needed.
Gifts are received and recorded by the school office. For a receipt, or to direct a gift to something specific — a child’s WAEC fee, a classroom’s books — call 701-809-8225 and it will be arranged properly.

“The distance between a child and a classroom is shorter than you think.”

Questions about giving
Yes. Card gifts work from anywhere once online giving is switched on, and the office can receive international transfers — pledge by WhatsApp and we will send you the details.
Yes. Tell the office what you want your gift to do — a Grade 9 pupil’s WAEC registration, a classroom’s reading books, a term of hygiene supplies — and it will be applied there and confirmed back to you.
Every gift is recorded at the office. Call 701-809-8225 and the administration will confirm receipt and, if you wish, what it was used for.
Give once, give termly, or simply spread the word about the Academy.
